Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, 22 November,2023- Ceinsys Tech Ltd (Ceinsys), a pioneer in providing Geospatial, IT, Engineering and Mobility services has been appointed as the System Integrator (SI) for IoT Deployment, including Design, Implementation, and Maintenance, with a centralized IoT based Platform for the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) Projects in the State of Maharashtra.

The JJM project is a landmark initiative of Government of India that aims to provide safe and clean drinking water to every rural household by 2024. Ceinsys will be using a real-time IoT based smart water technology & will offer its technical expertise in water supply management, monitoring of service level benchmarks and decision support system deployment. These techniques will help to address several underlying issues in rural water supply, including high scheme failure rates, contamination, source drying up, frequent outages, and inequitable distribution. Furthermore, Ceinsys will facilitate easy access to data for state authorities through centralized dashboard monitoring embedded with GIS views, decision support systems, and alerts. This will empower the authorities to make informed decisions and monitor the progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission effectively.

Valued at INR 248.39 Crores ($29.85 Mn), the project will be implemented in due course of 2 years followed by 5 years of Operations & Maintenance.
